Booking of a conference hall

  1. Log on to ewa.epfl.ch
  2. Click New > Meeting Request
  3. Reservation by name: put your name in the Resources field and click on the icon
  4. -Booking by list: click on Resources…and then All rooms. Double-click on the room name and click OK:

  5. Enter start/end date and hour and the reason for the booking.
    Remark: if you are booking for another person, we recommend that you disable the reminder and to "Show time as free" in the calendar, because this is related to you, not to the room.
  6. Check for the room availability. Click on the Scheduling Assistant tab.
  7. To finish, click on Send
  8. Important : The booking is effective only after you receive a confirmation.

 

Edit a booking

  1. Log on ewa.epfl.ch 
  2. Go to your calendar
  3. Find the booking that you want to edit
  4. Double-click on the booking, or right-click and click open
  5. Edit the parameters (time...)
  6. Optionnally, check the room availability. Click on the Scheduling Assistant tab.
  7. Click on Send Update
  8.  

  9. A new email will be sent, confirming that the reservation is at the new schedule.

Delete a booking

  1. Log on ewa.epfl.ch
  2. Go to your calendar
  3. Find the booking that you want to remove
  4. Right click and then Delete, or select the booking a press the DEL key.
  5. Click SEND
